Jordan's teaching philosophy focuses on students cultivating both an appreciation for music and a skillset to support their individual passion. They value creativity and approach learning with an open mind.
Violin lessons
I teach violin to all ages and experience levels. Lessons are offered in either 30, 45, or 60 minute sessions; 30 minute lessons tend to work better for younger students or those just starting out. For more advanced musicians and adults I recommend considering hour lessons. The rate is $30-60 per lesson, respectively. Piano lessons
I also teach beginning piano for students interested in the basics of keyboard playing. The rate for these sessions is also $30 for 30 minutes.
Contact me
I offer in-person lessons for vaccinated individuals (not required for children under 5) and am generally available to teach Sunday and Thursday, though I am flexible and ready to work around scheduling challenges. My studio is located in the Turnagain Arts Building. I offer house-call lessons in the Anchorage metro area for an additional $15 travel fee.
